Pangilinan a makítalipanpan Siuálâ ding Meángûbié, ing pékamaténákan paniatang king pámanialiksik at pámangambul king éganaganang dikil king dáîng Kapampángan. Métung yang pátulunang Ginû ning pámaniulat Kulitan, ing matuâng súlat Kapámpangan.

Pangilinan also known in his nom-de-guerre Siuálâ ding Meángûbié, the most acclaimed researcher and advocate in everything about the Kapampángan nation. He is a well-known expert in writing Kulitan, the indigenous Kapámpangan script.

Here is his definition of the Kapampángan word “batik”:

BATIK (n.) is the Kapampangan word for tattoo. BATIKAN (n.) was an expert in any field whose achievements were tattooed on his shoulder and shoulder blades. BATIKAN (adj.) expert. MANBABATIK (n.) the tattoo artist.
